Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Specialist - Operational Technology to join the OT team. The role focuses on hands-on server support, automation, and collaboration with OT teams and customers to deploy robust, low-risk solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backup technologies, server environments, monitoring tools, and scripting, with a proactive approach to incident resolution and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field with practical experience.
• 2-5 years of related experience.
• Experience with backup and recovery technologies.
• Experience with large production server environments.
• Experience with SCOM or other monitoring tools.
• Experience with SCCM server patching and reporting.
• 2+ years of scripting with PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Veeam Backup and Recovery servers and jobs.
• Assist with backup administration and ensure backups complete successfully.
• Monitor and maintain servers in plant domains.
• Patch servers and manage file services and server patching.
• Develop and document robust solutions with minimal service interruption.
• Collaborate with OT teams and customers to implement solutions.
