Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking a Specialist - Operational Technology in Houston to join a hands-on OT team. You will maintain backup systems, monitor plant servers, and contribute to automation and disaster recovery planning.

The role requires strong scripting, SQL, and server patching experience to keep production environments reliable. Ideal candidates hold a technical degree and have 3+ years in backup/recovery, large server environments, and monitoring tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in a technical discipline or certification with practical experience.
• 3+ years supporting backup and recovery technologies.
• 3+ years supporting large production server environments.
• 2+ years scripting with PowerShell.
• Experience with SQL queries related to SCCM and backup solutions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor Veeam Backup and Recovery servers and jobs.
• Support all file services, backups and server patching efforts.
• Architect solutions for process improvement and automation.
• Assist in disaster recovery planning and on-call rotation.
• Participate in project delivery including device configuration, vendor coordination.
