Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards.
• Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
• They must be licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.

Responsibilities

• Implement occupational therapy programs and activities per developed recovery plans.
• Deliver therapy treatments to help patients regain skills and independence.
• Collaborate with the rehab team to coordinate patient care and goals.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care focused on restoring function.
