Job description

Administrative Support Staff: provides administrative and clerical assistance to ensure the efficient daily operation of the After-School Program. This position supports program administration by maintaining accurate records, preparing reports, managing communications, assisting with enrollment, and ensuring documentation complies with organizational policies and Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) regulations, including 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3270 – Child Care Centers. The Administrative Support employee serves as the first point of contact for families, visitors, and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Requirements:A minimum of a high school diploma and two years work related experience. (Minimum one year of clerical or administrative experience. Experience in education, childcare, nonprofit, or human services preferred.)Good communication and organizational skills.Bilingual and/or bicultural preferred. (Spanish/English)Knowledge of the Puerto Rican, Latino, and African American community and the resources available.Knowledge of the Philadelphia School System and curriculum standards for children Kinder through 12th grade.Bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) preferred.
