Job summary

ASPIRA, Inc. of Pennsylvania is seeking an OST Program Assistant to support the day-to-day operations of the OST program, including project-based learning, Homework Assistance, and enrichment activities such as Visual Arts, Music, and Nutrition services.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Associate degree with related coursework and experience with children, and bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus to engage diverse communities in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or human services field and 1-year experience with children.
• Or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education, elementary education or the human services field and 1-year experience with children.
• Or Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university, including 30 credit hours in early childhood education, child development, special education or the human services field and 3 years of experience with school aged children.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assisting the day-to-day operations of the OST Program.
• Support program components including project-based learning, Homework Assistance, and enrichment activities offered such as Visual Arts, Music, Performing Arts, and Nutritional services.
