Job Summary: The Senior Construction Manager will have partial P&L responsibility for assigned projects as directed by the Project Manager and will manage the performance of in-house and subcontract crews, including field supervision of crew members and subcontractors.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manage overall project execution, including scope, cost, safety, quality, schedule, implementation, and customer satisfaction.
2. Prepare project status reports, update project trackers, and ensure work meets all specifications.
3. Complete projects within specified timeframes and budgets, meeting quality standards.
4. Monitor audit findings and ensure corrections are made within the customer’s timeline.
5. Review closeout documentation prior to submission to the Project Manager.
6. Capture and submit change orders to the Project Manager.
7. Track and coordinate material delivery, schedule construction, and drive completion to meet schedule and budget expectations.
8. Maintain project financials in our software platform.
9. Conduct site walks for bid opportunities and design standards.
10. Perform weekly quality and safety audits of crews.
11. Hold daily tailgate safety meetings.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Ability to read and interpret customer-provided prints and determine required tasks.
2. Manage and maintain subcontractor relationships.
3. Knowledge of regional municipality standards.
4. Experience in telecommunication infrastructure project management.
5. Knowledge of building permits, material ordering, and tracking.
6. Ability to understand and upload/download construction documentation.
7. Strong leadership and risk mitigation skills across all construction phases.
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
9. Interpersonal skills and a strong work ethic.
10. Analytical, detail-oriented, highly organized, with multitasking abilities.
11. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
12. Ability to manage multiple crews, delegate responsibilities, and communicate effectively with Project Managers and clients.
13. Approximately 80% of time in the field/on-site and 20% in the office.
14. Ability to pass drug screening and possess a valid driver’s license.
15. Willingness to travel.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in fiber installation.
