Mountain Ltd. seeks an OSP Construction Inspector in Bellingham, WA to ensure underground, buried, and aerial facilities meet standards through field inspections and contractor corrections.

The role involves documenting inspections, audits, and pole transfers, communicating by email and phone, and using mapping/GPS tools. Travel on short notice may be required; valid driver's license is essential.

Formación

• Experience with NESC inspections or aerial line crew.
• Pole ground line inspection experience.
• Proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
• Familiar with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Proficient with Windows XP, Excel and Outlook.
• Comfortable with internet usage and web browsing.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong time management and organization.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• Valid driver’s license and travel on short notice.

Mountain Ltd. has an opening for an OSP Construction Inspector in the Bellingham, WAare a.

Job Description

The OSP Inspector will be responsible to ensure that all the client’s underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards through inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors. The Inspector will document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and be expected to communicate via email, and cellular phone. At times it may be necessary to perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually by the use of printed spreadsheets. Familiarity in using mapping/GPS technology.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew
• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Computer experience:
• Microsoft Windows XP, Exceland Outlook
• Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.
• Good communication skills.
• Personal time management and organization skills.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice.

Pay: $32 hour, commensurate with experience
