Job summary

Mountain Ltd. has an opening for an OSP Construction Inspector in the Spokane, WA area. The Inspector will ensure underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet current standards through inspections and contractor corrections.

Documentation of inspections, audits, and pole transfers is done electronically and by email. Qualifications include NESC inspection experience, pole ground line inspections, proficiency in OSP Construction Standards, and familiarity with the National Electric Safety

Qualifications

• Experience performing NESC inspections or work on an aerial cable line crew.
• Experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Proficient in OSP Construction Standards.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.

Responsibilities

• Inspect underground, buried and aerial facilities to ensure compliance with current standards.

• Possibly perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually using printed spreadsheets.

Job description

Mountain Ltd. has an opening for an OSP Construction Inspector in the Spokane, WA area.

The OSP Inspector will be responsible to ensure that all the client's underground, buried and aerial plant facilities meet the current standards through inspections, and corrections work performed by contractors. The Inspector will document all inspections, audits, and pole transfers electronically, and be expected to communicate via email, and cellular phone. At times it may be necessary to perform inspections, audits, and transfers manually by the use of printed spreadsheets. Familiarity in using mapping/GPS technology.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew
• Previous experience performing wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Must be proficient in OSP Construction Standards
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.

Computer experience:

• Microsoft Windows XP, Excel and Outlook
• Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.

• Good communication skills.
• Personal time management and organization skills.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to travel on short notice.

Pay: $32/hour, commensurate with experience
