Job summary

Ziply Fiber seeks a Construction Project Administrator to ensure outside plant construction meets standards, cost, and schedule. You will inspect contractor work, guide inspectors, and ensure quality and timely completion within the Ziply network expansion.

Responsibilities include field inspections, contractor oversight, training, process improvement, and coordination with municipalities. Requires 5+ years in OSP and a valid license; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in outside plant (OSP) construction and/or OSP engineering.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screening.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground inspections and audits of contractors in accordance with NESC and Ziply standards.
• Coordinate field approvals and work with Engineering and vendor teams for solutions.
• Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors and assist in resolving complex issues.
• Train contract personnel in inspection methods and field software.
• Develop and implement new processes, documentation, and field software for inspections and corrections.
• Resolve issues with contractors and coordinate with municipalities on permitting and traffic control.
• Process vendor invoicing and support cross-disciplinary teams.
