Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Construction Project Administrator to ensure outside plant construction meets industry standards, cost and engineering expectations. The CPA will inspect contractor work and guide contract inspectors in the region to ensure timely delivery and quality for customers.

The role emphasizes field inspections, contractor oversight, process improvements, and effective issue resolution with municipalities and vendors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in outside plant (OSP) construction and/or OSP engineering.
• Familiarity with Word and PowerPoint; proficient with Excel for forms, hyperlinks and functions.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground inspections with contractor audits per NESC and Ziply standards.
• Act as first-level field approval for changes; partner with Engineering and vendor team for solutions.
• Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors and assist with complex issues.
• Train contract personnel in aerial plant inspection and correction methods and field software.
• Develop and implement new processes, documentation and field software related to NESC inspections and corrections.
