Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Manager, Outside Plant (OSP) Construction to lead the OSP team and drive fiber project delivery. You will manage staffing, budgets, schedules and safety/quality standards across multiple projects, ensuring on-time completion and compliant installations.

The role requires a high level of leadership, deep OSP engineering knowledge, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, municipalities and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of eight years of outside plant (OSP) experience including splicing and construction.
• Advanced understanding of fiber splicing and installation practices and safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Lead an internal OSP construction team including union and non-union staff.
• Oversee staffing, budgets, schedules and safety/quality of work on OSP projects.
• Identify fiber routes and coordinate project schedules with contractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines and complete post-construction as-builts.
• Coordinate meetings and document best practices; act as SME on fiber construction.
