Job summary

Lumosfiber is seeking a full-time OSP Construction Project Engineer to be a crucial part of our mission to deliver fast, reliable fiber optic internet. This role involves building relationships with local subcontractors and managing outdoor construction projects within a specific market.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in OSP Engineering and be adept at managing project timelines and safety regulations. Join us in bridging the digital divide and ensuring our community stays connected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction, or Operations.
• Solid experience with computer software including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Valid, fully unencumbered Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains relationships with local subcontractors.
• Tracks crew progress and reports to internal teams.
• Engages with municipalities to address neighborhood concerns.

Skills

Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Project management experience

Knowledge of OSHA rules

Relationship building & influencing skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred
