Job summary

Cherry Creek School District seeks an Educational Support Personnel to assist students under licensed staff supervision, reinforcing curriculum work and classroom routines.

You will support teachers with materials, supervision, and basic clerical tasks, while ensuring student safety and adherence to school policies. OSHA 10 certification is required and prior construction exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No experience required; construction background helpful.
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Intermediate oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced interpersonal relations skills.
• Advanced organizational skills.
• Ability to work alone and with others.
• Demonstrated ability to manage simultaneous demands and set clear priorities.
• Ability to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, attendance.
• Assist students with classroom activities and curriculum delivery to individuals and small groups.
• Perform basic clerical work for the classroom teacher, including typing, filing, data entry, and ordering supplies.
• Assist with other classroom events such as field trips or fire drills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
