Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an Instructional Para Educator to support licensed staff in delivering basic curriculum work and reinforcing learning skills. You will prepare materials, monitor students, and help with behavior management and documentation.

Qualifications

• The position requires a background check and fingerprinting.
• Candidate must have a High School Equivalency diploma.
• No prior professional work experience is required.
• Title I assignments may require additional education or credentials as defined by state/local standards.
• Basic knowledge of standard office equipment and software is required.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the classroom teacher with materials, tests, grading, attendance and related paperwork.
• Support students individually or in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Monitor student behavior and reinforce classroom rules during activities and transitions.
• Perform clerical tasks including data entry, inventory, and basic repairs coordination.
• Assist with field trips, drills, and other school events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervising staff.
