Job summary

Cherry Creek School District is seeking an Instructional Para Educator to assist students under a licensed staff member's supervision. You will support individuals or small groups with basic curriculum work, reinforce learning, prepare materials, monitor students, and help with behavior management.

You may perform clerical tasks, record progress, and participate in classroom events such as field trips. A high school diploma and basic computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required.
• High School Equivalency diploma required.
• No professional work experience required.
• Title I assignments may require higher education or demonstrated knowledge in reading, writing and mathematics.

Responsibilities

• Assist with materials prep, tests, grading, attendance, and paperwork (Daily 30%).
• Assist students with classroom activities and curriculum delivery in groups or individually (Daily 30%).
• Monitor behavior and reinforce procedures in various settings (Daily 20%).
• Perform basic clerical tasks and data entry for the teacher (Daily 10%).
• Help with field trips, events, and drills (Daily 5%).
• Perform other duties as assigned (Daily 5%).
