Job summary

Cherry Creek Schools is seeking an Educational Support Personnel under the supervision of a licensed staff member to assist students with basic curriculum work and reinforce learning skills.

Responsibilities include preparing classroom materials, monitoring students, recording achievement, and supporting teachers. Candidates must be comfortable with lifting and physical tasks, and OSHA 10 certification is required for hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• No experience required, construction background helpful.
• Basic knowledge of office equipment (phones, copiers, fax, email).
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Intermediate oral and written communication skills.
• Advanced interpersonal relations and organizational skills.
• Ability to work alone and with others.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, attendance, etc.
• Assist students with classroom activities and curriculum delivery in small groups or one-on-one.
• Perform basic clerical tasks: typing, filing, data entry, ordering supplies, and light bookkeeping.
• Assist with school events such as field trips or drills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
