Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s); in good standing.
• BLS certification is required.
• Master’s in Nursing, Education, or related field preferred.
• Candidates matriculated into a BSN program will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with the health care team to deliver patient-focused care.
• Directs nursing care across the patient life span with considerations for aging, development, and culture.
• Collaborates with physicians, nursing, and ancillary departments to prioritize and manage patient flow.
• Participates in quality assessment and improvement programs to evaluate care effectiveness.
• Mentors, coaches, and motivates staff.

Education
