Brown University Health is seeking an Operational Support RN, Non-Procedural, to coordinate unit resources and support staff. The role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and delivering patient-centered care with a focus on safety and efficiency.

The OS RN will work with the care team to improve outcomes, participate in quality initiatives, and mentor staff while maintaining an active CEU/education file. Night shift hours and weekend coverage may apply at 593 Eddy Street, Providence, RI.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Rhode Island or NLC-compliant licensure.
• BSN required; candidates in BSN programs will be considered.
• Minimum 6 months of nursing experience; 2 years preferred; maintain skills.

Responsabilités

• Supports nursing care for patients across the lifespan with leadership oversight.
• Collaborates with care team to promote effective communication with patients and families.
• Reports unit operations and issues to Clinical Manager.
• Coordinates with physicians and departments to manage patient flow.
• Participates in quality improvement and staff education initiatives.
• Contributes to staffing plans and nursing education delivery.
