Job summary

Brown University Health is seeking an Operational Support RN, Non-Procedural, to coordinate resources for assigned units and provide leadership to staff. This role reports to the Nursing Director and supports patient-focused care with a focus on quality and fiscal responsibility across the patient life span.

The position requires a BSN, a current RN license, and BLS certification, with 6 months of nursing experience and leadership preferred.

Qualifications

• BSN required; Master's preferred or in progress.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s); in good standing.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months Nursing experience with leadership; 2 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee nursing care across patient lifespan.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure quality, cost-efficient care.
• Lead staffing plans and acuity-based scheduling.
• Identify educational needs and drive staff development.
• Mentor and coach bedside staff to improve outcomes.
• Participate in policy development and quality initiatives.
