Qualifications

• Rhode Island RN licensure or multi-state compact.
• BSN degree required; candidates in BSN programs may be considered.
• Minimum 6 months nursing experience; 2 years preferred.
• Mandatory skills maintained and kept current.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care across the patient life span with attention to aging and cultural patterns.
• Collaborate with care teams to communicate with patients and families for outcomes and discharge planning.
• Report unit operations and issues to the Clinical Manager.
• Prioritize and manage patient flow with physicians and ancillary staff.
• Participate in quality improvement and staffing planning activities.
