Brown University Health is seeking an Operational Support RN, Non-Procedural, to coordinate resources and lead unit staff in delivering patient-centered care. This role supports timely patient flow, collaborates with the care team, and participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives.

The position requires a BSN, an active RN license in RI/MA or applicable states, and BLS. Experience in nursing leadership and staff development is preferred in a dynamic hospital environment.

Qualificações

• BSN required; Master’s in Nursing, Education, or related field preferred.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s); in good standing.
• BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate nursing care across the patient’s life span with attention to aging, development, and culture.
• Collaborate with care team to ensure communication with patients and families for positive outcomes and discharge planning.
• Report unit operations and issues to Clinical Manager; prioritize and manage patient flow with physicians and ancillary staff.
• Participate in quality assessment and improvement programs and support acuity-based staffing plans.
• Mentor and coach staff; support retention and staff education through learning initiatives.
