Job summary

Qualifications

• BSN degree required; RN license in applicable state in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and direct nursing care across the patient life span with aging/developmental considerations.
• Foster communication with patients and families to achieve positive outcomes and discharge planning.
• Assist with unit staffing plans and acuity-based staffing to maintain fiscal responsibility.
• Mentor and coach staff; identify educational needs and develop learning.
• Participate in quality improvement, policy development, and compliance with standards.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

Master's in Nursing, Education, or related field (preferred)
