Job summary

Monks, a global digital-first brand, seeks an OS 2200 Infrastructure Support Specialist to provide mission-critical systems support for a major manufacturing client's data center. You will work with time-tested enterprise systems and contribute to ongoing modernization efforts.

Responsibilities include on-call support for Unisys 2200 environments, monitoring health, incident triage, and coordinating with stakeholders and vendors. Strong communication under pressure is essential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the Unisys 2200 ecosystem: OS, utilities, DB, and apps development.
• Experience booting OS 2200 and installing 3rd party products on 2200 systems (COMUS, SOLAR).
• Familiar with Unisys OS 2200 ECL and diagnostic data interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-call support for Unisys 2200 systems in a client data center.
• Monitor system health using Unisys tools and client utilities.
• Triage incidents and perform root cause analysis for hardware, OS, 3rd party, and apps.
• Follow customer policies for escalation, change control, testing, and production promotion.
• Respond to emergencies and restore operations quickly.
• Monitor mainframe databases for data integrity.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors; prepare trouble reports.
