Qualifications

• 1 year computer applications, typing and general office skills.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years secretarial/receptionist experience preferred.
• 1 year scheduling, registration and insurance verification preferred.
• 1 year medical background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staff scheduling with patients and/or other departments using hospital systems.
• Provides departmental telephone support and routes messages as appropriate.
• Maintains department office supplies inventory.
• Organizes and prioritizes tasks and ensures access to documents within minutes.
• Records minutes of departmental meetings and distributes them on schedule.
• Tracks and reports performance improvement and patient data using hospital systems.
