Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) per IDFPR.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Ongoing CE requirements for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and adjusting plan of care for patients.
• Perform patient transfers with proper body mechanics.
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluate clinical findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Document per policy and maintain therapy EMR.
• Apply modalities such as ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis.
