Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Technician to fabricate orthotics and prosthetic devices in a small workshop setting. You will collaborate with clinicians and patients to adjust and repair devices, using a range of hand tools and equipment.

The role emphasizes fabrication skills, with on-site work away from the exam room. Experience with band saws, drill presses, and vacuum systems is preferred, and strong attention to safety and quality is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with fabrication of orthotic/prosthetic devices is a plus.
• Strong hand skills and familiarity with hand tools are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools to fabricate and repair orthotic and/or prosthetic devices.
• Perform ordering, receiving, and inventory tasks as assigned.
• May fit and deliver prefabricated orthoses and related components.
