Hanger, Inc. is seeking an Orthotic Fitter to provide independent patient care by fitting and adjusting off-the-shelf and prefabricated orthoses.

The role involves monitoring patients, ensuring proper device fit and function, and delivering clear instructions to patients and staff. The position emphasizes safety, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with clinicians and administrative staff to support reimbursement and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current certification as a Certified Fitter or Orthotics (ABC).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Examine and evaluate patient needs for orthotic devices.
• Provide and adjust off-the-shelf and prefabricated orthoses.
• Ensure proper fit, function and medical efficacy of devices.
• Instruct patients in use of orthotic devices.
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and support reimbursement activities.
• Provide follow-up with patients and physicians.
• Adhere to safety regulations and HIPAA compliance.
