Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking an Orthotic Fitter to provide independent patient care for off-the-shelf and pre-fabricated orthoses. You will evaluate patient needs, ensure proper device fit, and document care in patient records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Current certification as a Certified Fitter or Orthotics (ABC)
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patient's needs in relation to disease and functional loss.
• Provide independent patient care for devices within scope and ensure fit and efficacy.
• Instruct patients in use of orthotic devices and monitor devices over time.
• Provide detailed clinical notes to patient records and assist with administrative documentation.
