Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking an Orthotics Fitter to provide patient care by fitting and adjusting off-the-shelf and pre-fabricated orthoses. The role supports physicians and therapists, monitors device fit and function, and ensures patient comfort and outcomes.

You will work within Hanger Clinic locations across the country, adhering to safety, HIPAA, and Medicare guidelines while delivering quality service and collaboration with clinical staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
• Current Certification as a Fitter or Orthotics (ABC) is required or eligibility.
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a valid driver’s license and driving record.

Responsibilities

• Examine and evaluate patient needs related to disease and functional loss.
• Provide independent patient care for devices within scope.
• Evaluate orthotic device on patient; adjust for fit, efficacy, and quality.
