  • Provide orthopedic hand surgery care with a broad case mix.
  • Participate in a 1:12 call pool shared among colleagues.
  • Work with clinic and OR schedules: 3 clinic days and 2 OR days weekly.

We invite applications for a specialist in Orthopedic Hand Surgery at our Caton Hill Medical Center. Unlike other U.S. health systems, MAPMG is built and led by physicians who earn competitive salaries, without income based on providing individual services. Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. What You Can Expect:
  • Broad case mix Call is 1:12 which is equally shared and includes General Orthopedic Call Clinic Monday- Friday;
  • 3 clinic days and 2 OR days per week
  • Quick ramp up, busy hand practice from day one
  • Medical Assistant support in clinic
  • Physician Assistant support in office for consultations and follow ups
Minimum Requirements:
  • MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery Hand and Upper Extremity Fellowship
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $575,000, which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
