Job summary

Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) seeks a Gastroenterologist for our Caton Hill Medical Center. This 1.0 FTE role includes outpatient consults, endoscopy, and a mix of virtual and in-person visits with strong support staff and a physician-friendly EMR. Starting salary is $575,000 with a forgivable loan of $100,000 for new hires. Licensure in DC, MD, and VA is required or obtainable.

We invite applications for a specialist in Gastroenterology at our Caton Hill Medical Center. Now offering $100,000.00 forgivable loan as a new hire incentive! Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. What You Can Expect

• This position is listed as a 1.0 FTE, which is the equivalent of 40 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• Provide outpatient consultative & endoscopy services through an internal referral system in a collegial environment that allows for work life balance
• Provide care with a mix of virtual & in-person patient visits
• Access to state-of-the-art endoscopy equipment
• Support a call schedule where call is divided equally amongst all providers
• Provide inpatient coverage at affiliated hospitals
• Work with an experienced support staff
• Opportunities for leadership positions within the medical group if desired
• A physician friendly EMR (electronic medical record) system

Minimum Requirements

• MD or DO Board Certified or Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting salary for this position will be $575,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
