Job description

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for an Orthopedic Surgeon‑Total Joints specialist at our Largo Medical Center and surrounding DC Metro area.

What You Can Expect
  • Primary revision hip and knee cases
  • Dedicated OR time (1-2 days per week)
  • Clinic days 20-30 patients with CNA and RN support
  • PA oversight in clinic
  • Regular collaboration with skilled arthroplasty partners
  • Participation in 1:13 trauma call schedule at a level II trauma center
Minimum Requirements
  • MD or DO
  • Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $550,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.

Effective July 1, 2026, the starting annual salary for this position will increase to $565,000.
