The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a Orthopedic Surgeon- Shoulder specialist at our Lutherville-Timonium and South Baltimore Medical Center.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. What You Can Expect:

• This position is listed as a 1.0, which is the equivalent of 40 hours per week and is reflected in the salary listed below
• A diverse mix of general orthopedic patients in clinic

Quick ramp up in surgical volume with approximately 60% shoulder cases including shoulder arthroplasty

Average of one surgical session and 4 clinic sessions per week

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery

Fellowship trained in Shoulder Reconstruction and/or General Sports Medicine

• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia
• Practice patient-centered, culturally competent medical care

Effective July 1, 2026, the starting salary for this position will be $575,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
