North Texas Orthopedics located in Fort Worth, TX, is seeking an experienced scheduling coordinator to join the team. The role focuses on answering calls, scheduling surgeries, and coordinating with hospitals and EMR systems.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of direct surgery scheduling experience, proficiency with insurance precertifications, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced orthopedic environment.

Formación

• Must be proficient in obtaining insurance prior-authorizations.
• Must have 1 year of direct surgery scheduling experience.
• Experience with Centricity/Phoenix EMR is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Pleasant speaking voice and customer service skills.
• Neat, professional appearance.

Responsabilidades

• Answers the telephone lines and directs calls to the appropriate person.
• Schedules surgical appointments and coordinates with hospitals/ASC.
• Maintains physicians' calendars and blocks.
• Verifies insurance coverage and precertifications for procedures.
• Communicates time and place of service to patients and documents in EMR.
