You will schedule surgeries, imaging, and pre-op visits; manage authorizations, documentation in EMR, and communication with providers and patients.

Qualifications

• Two years as a medical assistant with orthopedics or hospital experience.
• Current CMA certification preferred.
• Experience in scheduling surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, and handle in-coming calls.
• Schedule surgeries, imaging, and pre-op visits.
• Obtain pre-authorization and document authorization numbers.
• Maintain confidentiality and support clinic operations.
