Job summary

Ascension is seeking a role in Tulsa to assist with orthopedic treatments and casts under physician orders. You will set up orthopedic devices, report changes in patient conditions, and maintain up-to-date policies through ongoing training.

Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential for success in a busy surgical department. Minimum requirements include a High School equivalency with 2 years of related experience, or an Associate/Technical degree, or 4 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Assists with treatments requiring plaster casts and/or surgical procedures involving fractures as ordered by a physician.
• Maintains current knowledge of orthopedic policies/procedures through training, testing, and skills labs.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
