Job summary

Ascension's 2nd St. Clinic in Austin, TX is seeking a full-time role in Orthopedics. You’ll conduct clinical interviews, capture vital signs, and ensure the care team has accurate data for diagnosis.

You’ll prepare and maintain sterile treatment rooms, coordinate patient care journeys by managing records and communications, and help keep a well-stocked medical inventory to support immediate patient care.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Experience or ability to obtain licensure/certification as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical interviews and capture vital signs to support accurate diagnosis.
• Prepare and maintain sterile, organized treatment rooms for physicians.

• Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift l Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM
  

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Facilitate seamless patient transitions by conducting clinical interviews and capturing vital signs to ensure the care team has the most accurate data for diagnosis.
• Optimize clinical workflows by preparing and maintaining sterile, organized treatment rooms that allow physicians to focus entirely on patient care.
• Coordinate patient care journeys by managing clinical records and communications with precision, ensuring no detail of the treatment plan is missed.
• Maintain a high-standard care environment by managing medical inventory and supplies, ensuring the team is always equipped to provide immediate patient support.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association OR American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
