Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a dedicated RN for the 7N Orthopedics unit, part-time nights. You will provide direct patient care in a 24-hour period, with two 12-hour shifts on Saturdays and Sundays, 7pm–7am, on a 48-bed unit focused on joint and spine procedures.

The ideal candidate has inpatient RN experience, an active RN license, and BLS. Sign-on/relocation bonuses and robust benefits are available as part of our total rewards package.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred; at least 6 months required to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Apply evidence-based practice and clinical decision making while maintaining a safe patient environment.
• Lead efforts to ensure the best patient experience across the continuum.
