Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is seeking a registered nurse for a 48-bed Orthopedic Surgery Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. The role emphasizes total joint, knee, hip, spine, and related procedures, with a focus on high-quality patient care.

The position requires an RN license in the state, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of inpatient experience (1 year preferred). Benefits include sign-on and relocation bonuses, and robust PTO.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred. At least 6 months required (excluding New Grad residency).
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication to ensure patient safety and optimal experience across the care continuum.
