Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse for our 48-bed Orthopedic Surgery Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. This Med/Surg Orthopedics role features three 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm) across a 36-hour week, with weekend and holiday requirements and a sign-on bonus for eligible applicants.

The RN will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process, apply evidence-based practice, and promote a safe, compassionate patient experience across the continuum.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• At least 6 months required experience to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.
• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• RN license issued by the state where the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
