Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking a 1099 Physiatrist to diagnose and treat patients with work-related injuries, focusing on pain management and rehabilitation. You will work with therapists, chiropractors, and other staff under an occupational medicine physician, collaborating with employers on active case management.

The role emphasizes rapid recovery, aggressive scheduling, and high-quality care using state-of-the-art equipment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and unrestricted California medical license.
• Active DEA registration required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Medical Malpractice Insurance coverage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.
• Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in occupational medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, or outpatient setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage musculoskeletal and other work-related conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including physical therapy, medications, injections, and non-surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients on their conditions and rehabilitation process.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in EMR.
