Job summary

Agile Occupational Medicine is seeking an orthopedic surgeon to evaluate, diagnose, and manage work-related injuries within a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with physical therapists, chiropractors, and other staff under occupational medicine supervision to deliver timely care.

The role emphasizes rapid recovery, aggressive scheduling, and active case management with a 1099 contract structure. Excellent facilities and patient engagement are provided.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical program.
• Unrestricted California medical license.
• Board certified or eligible as applicable.
• Active DEA registration.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current malpractice insurance coverage.
• Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients to diagnose musculoskeletal problems from work-related injuries.
• Develop individualized treatment plans including PT, medications, and possible surgical interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Treat fractures and musculoskeletal conditions with injections and electrodiagnostic interventions.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans for optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients about conditions and rehabilitation.
• Complete timely documentation in EMR.
