Job summary

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group invites applications for a part-time Orthopedic Surgeon- Shoulder at our Lutherville-Timonium and South Baltimore Medical Center. MAPMG is a physician-led group of over 1,800 physicians across Maryland, Virginia, and DC, offering competitive compensation and comprehensive liability coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship trained in Shoulder Reconstruction and/or General Sports Medicine.
• Licensed or able to obtain licenses in DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Treat a diverse mix of general orthopedic patients in clinic with a focus on shoulder cases.
• Achieve a quick ramp-up in surgical volume, with approximately 60% of cases involving the shoulder, including shoulder arthroplasty.

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is a leading group of over 1,800 physicians in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., exclusively caring for Kaiser Permanente patients. We invite applications for a part-time Orthopedic Surgeon- Shoulder specialist at our Lutherville-Timonium and South Baltimore Medical Center.

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship trained in Shoulder Reconstruction and/or General Sports Medicine
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting hourly rate for this position will be $276 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors.
