Job summary

The Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group (MAPMG) is seeking an Orthopedic Surgeon- Total Joints for our Largo Medical Center and Capitol Hill Medical Center. This physician-led group serves Kaiser Permanente patients with a focus on prevention, coordination of care, and high-quality outcomes.

Starting salary is highly competitive at $575,000 with comprehensive benefits, shareholder pathway, and professional liability coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Adult Reconstruction Fellowship required.
• Licensed or able to obtain licenses in DC, MD, and VA.

Responsibilities

• Primary revision hip and knee cases.
• Dedicated OR time (1–2 days per week).
• Clinic days 20–30 patients with MA and RN support.
• PA oversight in clinic.
• Regular collaboration with arthroplasty partners.
• Participation in 1:13 trauma call schedule at a level II trauma center.

We invite applications for an Orthopedic Surgeon- Total Joints specialist at our Largo Medical Center and Capitol Hill Medical Center.

Our medical group comprises board-certified physicians across 60+ specialties. MAPMG physicians use a comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) to coordinate care. What You Can Expect:

• Primary revision hip and knee cases

Minimum Requirements:

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
• Adult Reconstruction Fellowship
• Currently licensed or able to obtain licenses in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia

The starting annual salary for this position is $575,000 which considers an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, MAPMG offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
