Job summary

Fairview Health Services is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) on the Orthopedic Spine Unit at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury, MN. The RN will care for adult medical-surgical patients with orthopedic procedures, including joint replacements and spine surgeries, in a 0.6 FTE role.

The position follows Day/Evening shifts (7:00 AM–3:30 PM / 3:00 PM–11:30 PM) with every other weekend and holiday rotations. Candidates should be adaptable, collaborative, and patient-focused.

Qualifications

• Required nursing degree and active licenses.
• BLS certification is required.
• RN license from MN Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care to medical-surgical adult patients on the Orthopedic Spine Unit.
• Coordinate plan of care including post-operative care and discharge planning.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document learning needs; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with interprofessional team to achieve quality, safety, and patient experience goals.
