Job summary

Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to join the 4th Floor Ortho Spine unit, a 26-bed medical/surgical team focused on total joint replacements and spinal surgeries. You will assess, plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care for diverse patient populations in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.

This full-time night position requires MN RN license and BLS; preferred BSN and 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• MN RN license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and identify expected nursing outcomes.
• Plan, deliver and evaluate nursing care for assigned patient populations.
• Coordinate care with health team members and delegate appropriately.
• Collaborate with patient and family to develop an integrated plan of care.
• Promote evidence-based practice to improve patient outcomes.
