Fairview Health Services is seeking an Observation Unit RN at Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN. The role focuses on adult patients with medical and surgical needs in a fast-paced 28-bed unit, using telemetry and protocol-driven care. 12‑hour day shifts cover two weeks with every third weekend.

The RN will assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate care on an integrated team. The position requires MN RN licensure and BLS; preferred candidates hold BSN or have 1–3 years of Med/Surg experience

Qualificações

• MN RN license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Demonstrated patient care and communication skills.
• Experience in acute or sub-acute Med/Surg preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess patients and identify nursing outcomes.
• Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care per policy and guidelines.
• Coordinate with health care team and delegate as appropriate.
• Develop individualized nursing plan of care based on age and condition.
• Document data, outcomes, and plan of care for continuity.
• Provide patient/family teaching appropriate to learning readiness.
• Ensure safety by recognizing/adapting to emergent situations.
