Job summary

Atrium Health Mercy is hiring a part-time Registered Nurse for the 48-bed Orthopedic Surgery Medical Surgical Telemetry Unit. You will work weekend nights, two 12-hour shifts, 7pm–7am, with a sign-on bonus available for eligible applicants.

The role emphasizes compassionate nursing care, evidence-based practice, and a strong patient-centered approach in a Magnet-designated facility with robust benefits and PTO.

Qualifications

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred; at least 6 months required outside the New Grad residency program.
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
