Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 2b Med Telemetry floor, OCE Unit, Orthopedic Spine and Bariatric Surgical Unit. The role is 36 hours per week, 7pm–7am, every other weekend, with benefits eligibility.

You will provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient age spectrum, exercise sound clinical judgment, perform accurate assessments, manage care plans, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes and patient dignity.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing Diploma, ASN or BSN (preferred); Ability to obtain BSN within 4 years required.
• License/Certifications: Current RN MA license & BLS required
• Experience: 1-2 years of acute Med/Surg experience strongly preferred in hospital setting
• Knowledge: Excellent assessment skills, clinical skills and organizational skills and charge capabilities

Responsibilities

• Provide care addressing the needs of patients across all age groups from infant to elderly.
• Delegate nursing tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate assessments, documentation, and coordination with care teams
