Job summary

MPOWER Physical Therapy in Franklin, TN is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our orthopedic-focused team. You will work under a licensed PT to help patients regain mobility, improve function, and return to activities they love.

Responsibilities include hands-on care, exercises, documentation, billing support, and patient education. New grads considered with strong clinical competence; two years in ortho preferred; EMR and MS Office experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited institution.
• Licensed PTA in Tennessee.
• Two years of orthopedic/physician office experience preferred; new grads considered with proven clinical competency.
• Experience in orthopedic care and manual therapy preferred.
• Knowledge of therapy documentation standards and payer-specific billing requirements.
• Familiarity with EMR, practice management systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple patients while maintaining high quality care.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on patient care under supervision of a licensed PT.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as directed.
• Educate patients and provide home exercise programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and billing.
• Manage a patient caseload while meeting productivity standards.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to support scheduling and care.
• Assist with training and supervision of Therapy Technicians.
• Participate in team meetings and clinic projects as needed.
